The event will mark the 65th anniversary of victory over Nazi Germany, a spokesman for Russia"s permanent mission to NATO in Brussels said.

Russian bikers will travel from Moscow to the town of Chimay in Belgium to take part in the event. Rogozin, 46, who has shocked diplomats and journalists in the past by turning up to work on a motorbike, is to join the group in Brussels.

On April 17, the bikers will hold a wreath laying ceremony at cemeteries for Soviet soldiers who took part in the Belgian resistance movement. Russia"s ambassador to Belgium, Alexander Romanov, will also take part in the ceremony.
