The spacecraft with the new emblem, the crew"s official crew logo, is scheduled to take off from the International Space Station at the Baikonur space center in Kazakhstan on June 16, 2010.

A spokesman for Roscosmos said the drawing, by Yevgeny Yemelyanov from the Russian republic of Mari El, depicts the International Space Station and the Earth waiting for its sons to return.

The winner of the competition will be invited to the launch of the spacecraft in Baikonur, the spokesman told RIA Novosti.

It has become a tradition for Roscosmos to hold children"s drawing competitions to choose emblems for the Soyuz spacecraft. In 2009, all four Russian spacecraft had logos drawn by children.
